Depending upon the country of origin, participants may be required to secure a visa or travel permit to enter Austria. All attendees are requested to make their own arrangements for entry visas or travel permits, ensuring that they also have the proper documentation for travelling through other countries en route to Vienna. UNIDO may issue, upon request, a formal invitation to expedite the application process. Neither UNIDO nor the UN have visa-issuing status and are therefore not liable for any legal or political ramifications due to unauthorized travel and entry.
